In recognition of the International Women’s Day, the Institute of Communications Studies and the MeCCSA Women’s Media Studies Network are hosting a symposium to explore the place of feminist research and pedagogy in Cultural, Communications and Media Studies.

Speakers Include:

  • Dr Julia Hallam, University of Liverpool
  • Dr Myra MacDonald, University of Stirling

We invite women academics and postgraduate students to this half-day event on March 11 2005 at the Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds, to discuss, network, share and explore future collaborations in the field. Sessions will begin in the afternoon.

WMSN fees: waged £10, students and non-waged £5
