Tessa Perkins Memorial Event

This event commemorates the work of Tessa
Perkins
, who died last year. Tessa was subject leader
of media studies at Sheffield
Hallam University
and on the executive of the Media,
Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA).
The event covers aspects of research and policy that represent
some of Tessa’s wide variety of practical and theoretical
interests.

Tessa was an active supporter of the Women’s
Media Studies Network of MeCCSA and the Network are
organising this event in conjunction with Media and Communication
Studies at Sheffield Hallam.

The event is free and all colleagues, women and
men, are most warmly welcome.
