BSA Student Artwork Competition and Exhibition

The Organising Committee of the 2008 British Sociological Association Annual Conference is inviting undergraduate and postgraduate students to submit videos and still photographic images for the student competition and exhibition that will accompany the BSA Conference at the University of Warwick in March 2008. Submissions should address and illuminate the conference theme, ‘Social Worlds, Natural Worlds’.

Prize money of £500 in total has been donated by the Reinvention Centre as part of its work to promote the integration of student research into the undergraduate curriculum.

All entries should be accompanied by a paragraph of text describing the ideas the submission seeks to explore and explaining how the work addresses the conference theme. The competition is open to all current undergraduate and postgraduate students studying at a recognised institution of higher education, in Britain or elsewhere.

Entries should be submitted on DVD or CD, enclosing three copies, and postmarked by 31 January 2008. They should be sent to:
