Call for book reviewers

Postgraduate and early career researchers are invited to join Networking Knowledge’s book review mailing list. Book reviews will be included in future issues of the journal and are generally 1,500 – 2,000 words, though longer reviews will be considered.

By joining our mailing list, you’ll get regular updates of books available for review. Networking Knowledge works with academic publishers to receive review copies of books. These books are a mix of physical and digital formats.

Book reviewing is an excellent way to become familiar with how to write for journals, learn what others in your field are working on, and engage with existing scholarship.

If you are interested, please send the following information to the Editor in Chief, Jen McLevey (jm981@exeter.ac.uk):
• Your name
• Your institutional affiliation (if applicable)
• Your position (e.g. PhD candiate, lecturer, etc.)
• Your current e-mail address
• At least five keywords or phrases identifying your areas of expertise (please be specific: e.g. ‘gender in contemporary British news reporting, rather than ‘journalism’)
Please circulate this call to postgraduate students who may not be on this list. If you would like any further information, please get in touch with Jen McLevey directly.
