Launch of BFI Moving Image Research Registry

The BFI Moving Image Research Registry is a new online searchable
database of research related to moving image media that covers
a broader range of subjects than considered before:

  • Film
  • Television and Media Studies
  • Modern Languages and Literature
  • English and American Studies
  • Classics
  • Theology
  • History
  • Business
  • Law
  • Computing
  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Cultural Studies

Each entry consists of a description of current and past
research projects, publications, and contact details. In
time it is hoped that it will be a useful way to network
with those sharing similar interests and encourage collaboration.
It will also allow academics to be more aware of current
trends and anticipate this in their publications.

Those carrying out moving image media related research can register with BFI and create their own entries.

If you have any questions or comments please email information.unit@bfi.org.uk or
