Gillian Doyle

Gillian DoyleGillian Doyle works within the Centre for Cultural Policy Research (CCPR) based in the Department of Theatre, Film & Television at the University of Glasgow. She is Course Director of the new Masters in Media Management at Glasgow and her teaching and research interests are centred around media economics and media policy. She is on the editorial board of the Journal of Media Economics, the International Journal on Media Management and also Media & Cultural Politics. Gillian is President-Elect of the Association of Cultural Economists International (ACEI). She is the author of Media Ownership and of Understanding Media Economics, both published by Sage. She is editor of The Economics of Mass Media (part of the Critical Writings in Economics series) published by Edward Elgar in 2006. Gillian has served as Treasurer and Membership Secretary of MeCCSA from Spring 2003 to January 2010. A new Treasurer will be elected in February 2010.
