Winners announced for MeCCSA Awards 2022

We are delighted to announce the winners of the MeCCSA Outstanding Achievement Awards 2022.

These are a new series of annual awards to recognise outstanding research in the fields of media, communication, and cultural studies. The full set winners, shortlists and judges’ comments can be found on the Awards section of our website.

MeCCSA will be presenting annual awards in the following categories:

• MeCCSA Journal Article of the Year
• MeCCSA Monograph of the Year
• MeCCSA Edited Collection of the Year
• MeCCSA Practice Based Research of the Year
• MeCCSA Doctoral Research of the Year

Award winners were announced during the MeCCSA Annual Conference 2022, hosted by Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, 7-9th September.

Thanks to everyone who nominated entries for our consideration. The panels were delighted with the wide range of submissions, covering all areas of MeCCSA subjects.
